Aurora, Ill. (May 22, 2019) – Digital Alliance, a leading video production and post-production company that specializes in cinematic content creation, received national recognition at the 40th Annual Telly Awards, a premiere award program honoring excellence in video and television across all screens. The company received four awards in various categories.
Digital Alliance received Gold Tellys for branded video content in the campaign promotional category for “Raise Resilient” and for non-broadcast video in the non-profit category for “The Fine Line”. In addition, the company received Bronze Tellys for the respective pilot episodes in two television series, “Cerebral” and “Rapture”, winning in the craft directing category and general drama category.
“We’re extremely proud to be recognized by such a competitive awards program like the Telly Awards, and be among winners that represent other leading brands, agencies and media outlets.” said Kenneth Stevenson, co-founder of Digital Alliance. Co-founder Andrew Bennett adds that “As video continues to serve as a vital avenue across branding and entertainment, we look forward to furthering our mission of inspiring, engaging and educating more audiences worldwide with our ability to share captivating, compelling and visually-beautiful content.”
The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Receiving over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world.
This year’s winners not only represent a further broadening of the online landscape to embrace more documentary, scripted and even episodic pieces, but an increased focus on Branded Content and innovative new platforms like VR and Social Streaming. Prominent winners include National Geographic, ESPN, Fast Company, CNN and more.
“We spend a lot of time listening to the creative community and our industry to better understand where the opportunities are for storytelling, and Social and Branded Content rose head and shoulders above the rest,” said Telly's managing director Sabrina Dridje. "These are areas that take a specific set of skills to produce great work, and as an organization honoring video and television content, spotlighting their efforts is fundamental to our mission.”
