Fine Line Creative Arts Center: Micro-Documentary
Digital Alliance had the privilege of producing a Micro-Documentary for the Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, IL. Micro-Docs are generally 5-10 minutes in length and aim to provide an authentic, story-driven look into a particular topic of interest. In this case, we are exploring how the act of creating in a positive environment can often transcend just the physical results left behind.
Now more than ever before, people are looking to consume content that really speaks to them…not just at them. As popular as video currently is, people have become more perceptive to whether or not a video is just projecting another sales pitch, or if it truly engages & speaks to their interests.
Using the micro-doc approach, you often have an even better chance of providing valuable content to your audience, while establishing a level of trust by not coming across overtly “salesy”. There’s no doubt we are in a new era of marketing. One that rewards authenticity and the investment in beautifully produced films.
